Because I know that my life is so important to everyone else out there, I just wanted to inform you that Switzerland has been crossed off the list. It is super expensive to get there and stay overnight. 60 euros for a one way train? Psh. No, thanks.
Our solution is to go to the White Truffle Festival in Abla. (To be complete honest, I was thinking that this "truffle" were of the chocolate variety. They are not. I am an idiot sometimes.) Maggie just informed me that "The Tuber magnatum truffles sell between $2,200 and $1,000 US per pound." I think I'll buy like 100 pounds.
This will be an interesting post when I get back. I have no idea what I am getting myself into...
