I started packing last night (or really this morning...) at 2:30am. Worst. Idea. Ever.
Out of all the people I talked to about this little trip, the ladies were the most eager to ask me how I was going to pack and what I planned on bringing. My response every time? "I have not a clue in the world. Maybe some clothes?" Well, last night at work I was again posed with this question. So later, after failing to to get some sleep, I decided to begin this daunting task. If you have any clues one what I should bring, how I should pack, etc, tell me. Now. Please.
Only one week until leave....which feels so weird...I kind of feel like throwing up...Italy? for 4 months? I'll believe it when it happens.
The next time you hear from me, I should be Italy, prancing around with all my future husbands. Or I'll just be in Italy, praying that I don't get lost and end up on a train to Turkey. (Unless, I plan to go there, of course.) Wish me luck! :)

I would just make sure that you bring whatever it is that you would be absolutly devestated if you forgot. Everything else can be purchased in Italy.
ReplyDeleteSince you'll be going in the winter - maybe some ski items that you can't buy/rent over there (not that I have ever skied and know if any such stuff exists).
Good Luck! I can't wait to hear about your journey!
That's weird that the ladies were the ones interested in how you were packing. I know that's usually the first question I ask.
ReplyDeleteLaura -- thanks for the message that you landed safely. Now, post some info about your adventures so far! Love, mom
