Okay, so technically I am not in Europe yet, but I am getting pretty excited that I just couldn't help myself by not posting something now.
Today, was my last day in Champaign, IL. Leaving the apartment was slightly bittersweet. We had so many great (and interesting) memories there, but sometimes you need to move on. I'll never forget the late nights that turned into early mornings, black Saturdays, drama, dance parties (as well as non-dance parties), and all the other "it was a good idea at the time" moments that we had. Let's just say that this past year was a bundle of fun.
Well, enough of the sentimental mumbo jumbo. I leave for Italy in less than a month and lets just say I have way too much to do. Luckily, I will be at home from now until then so my parents will be able to force me to do everything :) . (Right, mom?) I'll keep you updated on all the other fascinating stories that happen while at home, and I am sure there will be some good ones because let's face it, "everyday is an adventure" with me. That is a direct quote from Jen which I take as a complete compliment.
If anyone is feeling crazy and REALLY wants to come visit me in Omaha before I leave, I suggest you do it. It will be super fun! I mean we have a pedestrian bridge over the Missouri river. You can be in Nebraska AND Iowa at the SAME time. How can you not want to see that? Seriously.
